The 912 Project

I took a look at the website www.the912project.com today and it was quite interesting. I am not sure about the whole thing in general, but I did like one of the videos that happen to be on the front page. I liked it so much that I posted a link to it for all my friends on facebook and I think that people finding this site and this blog entry will like it also, so here it is...

Tell me what you think of it. Personally, this is something I have known for some time, but this seems to describe it in a very compelling way. I think that this is something that we as Americans have to get back into every day understanding, or will be on our way to a very different type of life than what we all thought it would be, and certainly very different than our forefathers had built for us.

The 912 Project is right and proof is still in our schools

This is something that I have been saying for years! We are not now nor were we ever intended to live in a Democracy form of government. That is of course according to our forefathers that founded the Constitution. I personally believe the change in our government came right around the time the men (the few)in washington decided to majority rule on the seperation of Church and State (to suit thier purpose at the time aka change some laws that were never meant to be tampered with.) It was near this time that freedoms began to be infringed upon in my opinion. Although the men in Washington did what they could to make sure we all understood that the Church was no longer involved in matters of State they forgot to change a few things while leading us into the form of government we live under today. The lines are blurred as to what type that is. Anyway getting back on point one of these forgotten few things is "The Pledge of Alliegence" wherein are not only the words "one Nation under God" but in the first few phrases it speaks right to the form of government that was intended our flag represent..."And to the Republic for which it stands." I am unsure when it was begun to be taught in our schools, but I know my sisters and I learned it at a very young age (7 or 8) and my sisters are older than I so that leads me to believe that it began long before I was born in 1971. My son of age 13 also learned it early in his life and still this past friday had to reciet it at the beginning of the school day. So if we are indeed "One Nation Under God" and our flag stands for a Republic form of freedom what are we to say to the men serving us right now in the Senate and Congress. I mean after all a lot of them just got there and although they were as complacent as I watching the government grow and grow while I sat on my haunches waiting for "change" are they at fault or our best hope to repair the errors of our ways?
